Burying Toronto's Transit Plans



       The price of subways vs LRT's is being discussed everywhere.  Including on this blog.  Obviously, subways are more expensive than LRT's which is largely the reason that cities are choosing LRT's over subways everywhere.  The price difference is seemingly insurmountable.  But, this post is not about price.

Premature Interjection


The rumours of Transit City's Death have been greatly exaggerated.  Despite what Rob Ford claims is his mandate, Transit City is not dead.  The Globe and Mail polled city councillors on whether they want the city to continue on Transit City or move ahead with Rob Ford's subway "plan."
